Setting up a powerful morning routine has made a massive impact on my life over the years. You see, for the longest time, I was someone who HATED getting up, especially early!
I loved staying up late and as a result, had a VERY hard time getting out of bed in the morning. I looked at other people accomplishing their goals and pursuing their passions and soon realized that most, if not all, had some sort of morning routine in place.
It’s not that they all were getting up at dawn, but they all had a set of habits and...
1.) Fear can either hold you back or be used as fuel on your path to living an inspired life. The choice is yours.
2.) We all have things in life we fear. Sometimes, you just have to slap fear in the face and keep moving forward!
3.) Courage is not the absence of fear but the triumph over it!
Fear consumes us all at some point in our lives. There are plenty of articles online that list the tops fears or our time. Whether you find the thing you fear on those lists or not doesn’t matter when you are in the heat of it. Fear is something real in the moment and often our attempts to “talk ourselves out of it” just fall on deaf ears.
I’ve experienced my fair share of fears over the years. Some fears were justified, like the time I jumped out of a plane in New Zealand. At other times, the all-consuming fear and anxiety I felt didn’t seem to have a reason to exist.
I’ve come to a point where I do my best to embrace my fears...
1.) When pursuing your dreams, life will open many new and exciting opportunities that you don't expect.
2.) Trust that the "setbacks" along your journey aren't setbacks at all. They are simply the next step along the path to your goals and dreams.
3.) Don't think that you need to start by taking big, massive action in order to move closer to your goals. Starting small and being consistent is the key.
There is truly magic in pursuing your dreams my friend. When it comes to the pursuit of your dreams you may be surprised where the magic is hiding.
Quite often we think that we will be transformed once we arrive at the destination that is our goals and dreams. The reality is that we grow most along the path towards our goals and dreams, not when we accomplish them. Accomplishing them is just a bonus.
